HALF ACADEMY. HALF RETREAT.

Before the academy retreat, all participants receive complimentary access to our full digital Mat & Reformer Teacher Training, valued at €1,500.

You will complete the training in the 4 weeks prior to arrival, allowing you to prepare at your own pace and arrive ready to fully focus on the hands-on practice during the Academy Retreat.

IT CONSISTS OUT OF 3 FULL PROGRAMS:

1. Anatomy & Pilates Principles (Theory behind Pilates Practice)

2. Mat Pilates Teacher Training (Exercises & Teaching Sills)

3. Reformer Pilates Teacher Training (Exercises & Teaching Skills)

After successful completion of Program 1, we will host a free webinar to repeat the content for a better understanding.

Head Coach of égoïste Academy.

Kasey brings over 15 years of international experience, teaching in leading studios across New York, London, Zürich, and Düsseldorf. With a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Columbia University and advanced specializations in women’s health, biomechanics, and rehabilitation, she delivers a precise, elevated standard of Pilates education. She will guide you through the Reformer certification.

MEET KIRA SONNTAG

Health & Performance Specialist at égoïste Academy.

Kira combines over a decade of experience in sports and healthcare with a strong scientific foundation. As a future physician and certified Health Coach, she brings medical integrity and a holistic approach to performance and natural wellbeing. She will guide you through the Mat certification.

MEET MICHELLE

Mind & Body Specialist & Private Chef at égoïste Academy.

With a Master’s degree in Psychology and certifications in Pilates and Yoga, Michelle brings a holistic perspective to movement and wellbeing. As the retreat’s private chef, she curates nourishing, thoughtful meals designed to support both performance and recovery—feeding body and soul.

WILL I HAVE A PRIVATE ROOM?

No. All rooms are intentionally designed as shared bedrooms to foster connection and a sense of community. If you are traveling solo and the academy is fully booked, you will share a room - and in most cases a double bed - with another participant. In select cases, an additional bed can be arranged upon request.

DO I NEED TEACHING EXPERIENCE?

No. This retreat is open to beginners and aspiring instructors.

DO I NEED PILATES EXPERIENCE?

Yes. Prior Pilates experience as a client is recommended.

WILL I BE CERTIFIED AFTER THE RETREAT?

Yes. You receive your Mat & Reformer Pilates certification through égoïste Academy.

IS EVERYTHING INCLUDED?

Yes. Accommodation, meals, training, workshops and materials are included. Flights and airport transfer are excluded.

CAN I START TEACHING AFTERWARDS?

The academy retreat package includes:
